I don't think any of the changes I want to use require CSS. I copy/pasted the CSS code that was automatically put in on another old room of mine, (to make sure that I had the right settings that I wanted. I didn't want to change the specific formatting of the chat room, I just wanted to add a banner, and possibly some links.) Which seemed to be fine. I had a friend of mine who knows CSS try and help me out in putting a banner up as part of the background, but most of the html tags that we tried ended up putting the banner in strange places on the chat.
Does any of this make any sense?
When I DO put in html code, it shows up, but it is showing up in all three sections of the chat, ie, the window that the text shows up in (at the top) the bottom portion where you enter text, and the side, where images of players show up. I'm also having problems with the chat showing up correctly for a friend of mine, who is running windows 7 and is more than capable of handling the rooms, where as it shows up fine on mine (minus the fact that the banners, links, etc, are all showing up on all three parts of the room. I'm not sure what I'm coding wrong, or if there is something special that I need to do code-wise to make it show up normally.
I'll leave it as is right now so you can see what I mean. Site is pjj.cc/aph
EDIT: Now I'm having problems with it showing up properly on my screen. I went ahead and took down the html coding. Any suggestions?
